God Money & Me is Making a Comeback

Big News from God, Money & Me

After a four-year hiatus, I’m coming back to share my story of finding financial freedom.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted on God, Money & Me. Too long, in fact.

You may remember this faith-based blog about personal finance. I started the site back in 2012 to document a personal journey I was taking through the Bible to discover what God had to say about money and how it affects my life.

At some point, you subscribed to God, Money & Me, and I’m really honored that you were willing to lend me some of your attention. Over the years, I published more than 300 articles on the site. And I heard from people all over the world that God was using that writing to encourage them, teach them and help them find freedom in their finances.

And then, the writing stopped.

Kids Changed Everything

I haven’t posted anything to God, Money & Me in four years. It’s not that I ran out of things to say… it’s just that I ran out of time to say it.

In 2014, my daughter Daisy was born, making me a dad for the first time. And I found out pretty quickly that the free time I was using to work on the blog was going to be occupied by other things. Two years later, my son Liam was born. I love being a dad, but I have less free time now than ever.

I realized that I still have a story to tell, and there are a lot of people out there who need to hear it.

I didn’t shut the site down, though. It just sat unattended. And in the past few years, I’ve been amazed to see that it still gets thousands of visitors each month — people who find it online because they’re looking for some inspiration and some freedom in their financial lives. And I continue to hear from people around the world about how much they appreciate what they find here.

Looking at these stats recently, something in my heart began to light up again. I realized that I still have a story to tell, and there are a lot of people out there who need to hear it.

So I have some exciting news to share today: I’m coming back to God, Money & Me, and it’s going to be better than ever.

The New God, Money & Me

I have completely redesigned the site, with big, beautiful photos and clean, easy-to-read text. And it works just as well on a smartphone as it does a computer.

I have also spent a lot of time re-writing some of the most important articles to pull back the curtain and give you an honest look at my own life. God has set my heart free from some attitudes that were seriously holding me back. It’s time for me to talk openly about that in a life-giving way.

God has set my heart free from some attitudes that were seriously holding me back. It’s time for me to talk openly about that in a life-giving way.

I have created an entirely new experience to help inspire people to fight for freedom in their financial lives… and freedom in their hearts. I’d love for you to join me on that journey.

If you have already subscribed to this site via email, you’re all set. You’ll be hearing from me there very soon.

If you’ve been following the blog via the WordPress reader, I’d love to have you along for this journey too. But because of some changes I’m making to the platform and distribution system, you won’t be able to get the full experience on WordPress. Instead, you can subscribe in about 10 seconds by filling out the simple form right at the bottom of this post.

There’s so much more I can’t wait to tell you about, including some great new resources that I’ll be sharing soon. But for now, head over to godmoneyme.com and check it out. I’d love to know what you think. And I can’t wait to hear stories of what God is doing in your life.

Talk to you soon!
